Gregg Farms began selling peaches to public in the early 1970's. John and Patsy Gregg started the U-Pick~We-Pick Farm with the help of their two sons Lee and Brad. The orchard has been going strong for well over 40 years....it's had it's tough times with late frosts, but the good seasons still came after those years. John and Patsy did a tremendous job making the peach business a success, and now

their sons keep the operation growing. They have grown by adding many seasonal vegetables and fruits to the original peach stand. Now blueberries, blackberries, nectarines, watermelons, tomatoes, silver queen sweet corn and many varieties of peas are available along with the delicious peaches. The greatest addition to the peach stand is the homemade peach ice cream!! The ice cream started back in 2006 and has been a fantastic hit!! We have our local regulars that come on a daily basis that make our day and our far away visitors that come on a weekly, monthly & yearly basis!! In addition to delicious ice cream, we have some awesome Peach Fritters, Peach Bread & Jams and Jellies that you'll find yummy too!! Come see us! Call 770-227-4661 for more information.

While everyone waits on us to open for peach season, you can still get a little taste of summer 🍑

Lisa’s Crêperie in downtown Senoia has a May special featuring our Old Fashioned Peach Preserves along with candied pecans and vanilla ice cream, and it looks and tastes amazing.

We love seeing local businesses using Georgia grown products and supporting agriculture. If you’re in the area, go give them a try and support local!

We’ve been out walking the farm this week and wanted to give y’all an update.

The late frost killed a lot of our early peaches. That’s just part of farming, but it still hurts to see. The good news is we will still have enough peaches to open for part of the summer. It just may be a shorter season than what we’re used to.

The blueberries didn’t get hit nearly as hard as the peaches, so we’re still expecting a good crop there.

We also got our sunflowers planted on April 9th. If the weather cooperates, they should start blooming around June 10th and really be at their best somewhere in that June 12th–18th window.

We’ll keep a close eye on everything and keep y’all posted as we get closer. We appreciate all the support and are looking forward to seeing everyone back out at the farm soon.

We are still checking the peaches to see what the total damage is from the frost. It’s going to take a little more time before we know exactly what this season will look like.

In the meantime, we’ve been busy getting things ready for another year at the farm. 🌱

We’re out in the fields now getting the beds prepped for our flower patch, and we’re excited for another season of U-pick flowers later this year. 🌸

There’s a lot that goes into getting everything ready, and it all starts right here—laying the plastic, working the ground, and getting set for planting.

We’ll keep y’all updated as we learn more about the peaches, and we’re looking forward to a great season ahead.

Thanks for supporting Gregg Farms! 🍑🌸

We’ve had a lot of people asking about the cold weather and the peaches. We appreciate everyone checking in.

Our trees are in full bloom right now, which is great to see but also means they’re more sensitive to a late freeze. With the cold temperatures coming over the next few nights, we’ll be watching things closely.

It’s still too early to know what kind of impact it could have. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and saying a few prayers over these blooms. We’d appreciate any prayers you’d like to send our way too.

Thanks for supporting Gregg Farms and local agriculture. 🍑

🌸 Peach Blossom Update 🌸

We are now on the backside of peak bloom, but there are still plenty of beautiful trees across the farm. Some orchards have started dropping petals while others are still opening.

If you want blossom pictures, this weekend will likely be your best chance before they are gone.

Bloom update from the orchard 🌸

The orchard is starting to wake up. Right now about 10% of the peach trees are blooming, and the plum trees are blooming as well.

With the warm temperatures this week (highs in the upper 70s to low 80s), bloom will likely progress quickly over the next several days. We do have some rain in the forecast this weekend, which may speed things along even more.

If you’re hoping to see the blossoms, it’s usually better to come sooner rather than later since bloom can move quickly once it starts. We will continue to post updates frequently as things change.

Entry is $25 per vehicle.

Photographers have the option to purchase a $25 Photography Pass, which covers the photographer’s vehicle for the rest of blossom season through sunflower season.

Please message us to schedule your visit so we can manage traffic and parking in the orchard.

Cash only.

Bloom update 🌸

The early peach trees are starting to wake up. We’re seeing blooms on a few branches per tree right now, mostly on the early varieties. It’s not full pink across the orchard yet, but it’s officially beginning. With the warm weather in the forecast, things are going to move fast over the next several days. Once more of those buds open, the color will really start to show across the rows. If you’ve been waiting on bloom season, it’s almost here. We’ll keep posting updates as it progresses.

We are starting to see some real color out in the orchard. Buds are swelling and the early varieties are beginning to show pink, while others are still a little behind.

With highs in the 70s this week, things are about to move quickly. If the weather holds, we expect blooms to really start opening up around March 6 through March 10, with peak bloom likely falling somewhere between March 9 and March 14.

For photographers, sessions will be weather dependent and timed around peak bloom. Photographer passes are $25 per vehicle for the whole season. Client vehicles are $25 each. Please message us to schedule your day and time so we can meet you there and get you set up.

We will keep posting updates as we get closer. Message us for more information! It is getting pretty out here. 🌸
