Well, we have some huge news to share from the farm! We are making a few major changes to the way we sell our products. To some of you these changes will be big, to others you may hardly notice. We are making these changes due to demands on the farm and our ever evolving family life with two growing boys (10 and 12 now!). Below is an outline of the changes that are starting this month!
- Creekside Farms will no longer be at the Piedmont Farmers Market on Saturdays. Our last market will be February 27. We cannot overemphasize the impact that the Piedmont Farmers Market has had on our business over the past 12 years, but it is time for us to “reclaim our weekends”. We just hope the relationships we have built with our customers over the years will carry on.
- We are splitting our home delivery into two zones, a northern and a southern zone. We will be delivering the northern zone on Wednesdays and the southern zone on Thursdays. This change will take place with next weeks deliveries.
- We are adding back some zip codes for those of you just out of our delivery range. We are adding 28023, 28079, 28088, 28115, 28117 and 28173. We hope this is good news for some of you!
- The cutoff date for all home delivery orders each week will now be Monday night at midnight, and an estimated delivery schedule will be sent out to everyone that ordered on Tuesdays. This should help both the farm and customers when it comes to planning.
So, now for what is NOT changing! We are still going to be offering our grassfed beef, pork and eggs. We will still be selling chicken, cheese, dairy and honey from other local farms/producers. We are also still offering pickups at the farm, and our products will continue to be available at The Bradford Store. We will also continue to offer bulk animal purchases. We have everything from an 1/8 th of a cow to a
whole cow, and a ¼ pig to a whole pig available!
We know the changes outlined above are big, but it is part of the process as our farm and family continue to evolve. We hope that many, if not all, of our farmers market customers will take advantage of one of our other options for getting our products!
As always, if you have questions please feel free to reach out.
Lastly, a big THANK YOU to those of you that have helped support our farm over the years!
