Our Story
My story comes from traveling to Central and South America tasting what I believed was some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted! And that’s where it all began. I loved the coffee so much I spent two years traveling back to these countries, month after month driving to dozens of coffee plantations. I was able to meet with different farmers and their families, hear their stories, and what makes their beans so remarkable. What I found was that coffee grown in regions at high-altitude or SHB strictly hard beans, known for its density, provide more flavor and add more character when roasted. Secondly, coffee grown in Volcanic loam (ash) provides much more nutrients. Organically shade-grown coffee that is lightly processed provides for a healthy better tasting coffee. Devil Mountain Coffee Sources High-Altitude, SHB, Organic, Volcanic grown coffee beans, and then roasted to perfection. This is what made their coffee in these countries so amazing. Never compromising on quality for 100’s of years, generation after generation. And now I bring their love of coffee, and my passion to you. Enjoy!
