One more day, folks! ONE BIG BARN JAM happening tomorrow Sept. 20th! Music starts at 4:30 🪅

We’ve got Red Stallions kicking us off, followed by our very own & then taking us into the evening dance party we’ve got .music at 8:30!

Based in Concord, North Carolina, Sketchy Eddie is a self-taught artist who has been creating
full-time since 2018. His work is rooted in a lifelong passion for drawing, first sparked as a child
when he filled his brother’s coloring books with his own hand-drawn pages. Through a blend of
psychedelic imagery, nostalgic pop culture, and symbolic contrasts, Eddie transforms shadow
into color, pain into resilience, and memory into myth. His art reflects the dance between

John Hairston Jr. is a fine artist/ illustrator from Charlotte, North Carolina. Raised in the era of Reaganomics and hip-hop culture, Hairston uses a mixture of street art, expressionist sensibilities, and vibrant colors to create an aesthetic all his own.

Hairston had participated in dozens of group gallery shows across the country, as well as hosted almost a dozen solo art exhibitions. He has done work for the ACC Network, Raycom Sports, the NBA, the NFL, and the NCAA. He has also provided the illustration for numerous musical acts including, The Wu-Tang, Del The Funky Homosapien, Earthgang, and the Grammy award nominated children’s album “The Perfect Quirk” by Secret Agent 23 Skidoo. He is the recipient of many awards including, but not limited to Charlotte Shout! Poster Contest 1n 2018, the Center City Vision Award in 2016 and Midsouth Regional Emmy in 2015. Hairston is a firm believer in art and activism, and can be found hosting workshops working for numerous nonprofits across the United States.

Zak Milkbone (Purple Fuzz):

Zak “Milkbone” Parham is a psychedelic rift traveler inhabiting a human vessel in the beautiul state of North Carolina. He was first introduced to live music from a very young age, and has always created some sort of art.

In the early 2010s those two worlds collided after attending some large and smaller local festivals that had live art. Since then he has been documenting his journey through the world of experience through the use of dream interpretations, abstract expressionism, intuitive energy paintings, and some art just for the fun and process. Everything is a reflection of something else. Heavily influenced by 90s cand classic cartoons, psycological horror, concert posters,rock n roll, psychedelic mind states, and combating the perils of human conciousness in an ever devolving society. Spookadelic shennanigans abound with this psychonaut!

Working across a variety of mediums, Matt embraces a stream-of-consciousness style of practice. Casey Teal & Eric Alan make up the duo known as Wattinne Visual, and for almost 2 decades we’ve been creating art together. In late 2010, I (Eric Alan) was honored to join the powerhouse from Greensboro, The Mantras, onstage at the Visulite Theater in Charlotte, NC to perform live art! Afterwards I began working towards integrating these techniques using the Rorschach inkblot test to further expand & explore the process in which I would create my art on top of layering painting & illustration skills.

Over the years, Casey Teal has been more behind the scenes, but recently she’s started her own series of Alien Pin-Ups using the states as the basis for each painting!

“We have collaborated previously on countless projects, but with this new series she’s bringing new life to WV! We love to setup & create alongside one another, so when We join an event it adds the experience, expertise & entertainment of 2 live artists as well as gallery exhibitionists, flow art performers & muralists! We like to paint & have fun!”

They are also the amazing organizers of all the amazing live artists that will be set up at ONE BIG BARN JAM! Thanks yall for everything you have done to make it a successful event!!

fell in love with painting at a young age in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Following years of intuitive practice, personal growth & engaging daily in the creative process, she began deliberately creating works of art with her unique style and story.

Each of her Conceptual Visionary acrylic paintings represents a variety of abstract concepts, cultures, inspirations from nature & other ideas that have inspired the artist throughout the years.

Jesi invites you to contemplate these ideas through the lens of the many combinations of geometric patterns, vibrant colors & intricate details, animating her original artwork to life with projection mapping. This process incorporates layers of light and color into her completed works to create an interactive art experience. The intentional creation of these works of art are to share these ideas with an open heart and visually captivating connection, and to instill constructive, uplifting energy into the lives of others.
