Our girls are home Coral Acres Wellness Sanctuary what a stressful 5 days. Sweet Jolene was born at 9:30pm on 7/15/26, and had to go to Littleton Large for the last 5 days as she could not nurse properly. Once she figured it out, she aspirated and was at risk for pneumonia at just 3 days old. So, this is where we will be every 2 hours to pan feed until she’s strong enough to nurse! We are the most proud of mama Rhiannon, she is amazing! Thank you to our village for all the help and support, truly could not do it without you guys! We are having so much helping this girl along her journey to become a solid citizen. From practice tying, grooming, moving off pressure, trailer loading, living with a herd, etc… watching little ms Cassidy come out of her shell is just amazing! Thank you MALT for working with us on this project! 40 of our 57 acres are permanently conserved for agriculture/equine use, meaning no development on the conserved acres!

We are proud to announce the permanent conservation of Steiger Farms—protecting 40 acres of scenic open space, wildlife habitat, and agricultural heritage in the heart of Conifer.

For years, this highly visible landscape near Highway 285 represented uncertainty for the community, as the parcel had once been considered for development—an outcome that could have dramatically changed the character of this important gateway to Conifer.
