Uggggg! Baby bucks! Poor Lady is trying everything she can think of to gain the affection of Two Maples MW Smooth Criminal. She is getting frustrated and all he wants to do is jump up and look over the wall to try and see his stallmates. 🙄 The weird thing is, he already settled 2 does a month ago, but somehow already forgot his job. 🤷‍♂️

Smoothie is the AI son of SG Two Maples Suprcalifragilistic 2*M, FS 90 VEEE @ 9-02 and SGCH ++*B Kastdemur’s Most Wanted, multiple time ELITE buck and the 2016 ADGA National Show Premier Nubian Sire.

For your consideration, this 2025 buck kid (T3) is looking for his own ladies. He is a late February kid and has grown very well. He stands on strong feet and legs, with good rear leg angulation. Lots of width throughout and a strong topline, although he’s in a bit of a wonky growth stage right now. T3 has many TOP TEN, ELITE, and CHAMPION animals in his immediate pedigree. He has the sweetest personality and is always looking for pets and snuggles. He has a couple faint moonspots on his rump, so there is a possibility of him throwing spotted kids.

His dam is Camelot Cattle Co Jinx 3*M (pending), VEEV 89 @ 5-06. Jinx milked 1970 # as a first freshening 2 yo with 94 # BF and 68 # P. Jinx’s sire is +*B Tamris Farm Sap's Onyx VEE 87, who has made the elite list 4 years in a row and reached the 99th percentile in 2024. Onyx’s dam is SGCH Tamris Farm Sapphire 10*M Elite, EEEE 91. Onyx's maternal sister, Tamris Farm Sap's AH Azurite, was 2019 ADGA National Junior Champion. Jinx’s paternal sister, SG Camelot Cattle Co Mischief 2*M FS90 (VEEV) @ 06-03 is a multiple time top ten and elite doe.

This impressive insect is a dobsonfly, most likely a male Eastern dobsonfly (Corydalus cornutus).

🔎 Key Identifying Features:

Large size: Can reach 4–5 inches long with wings extended.

Huge, curved mandibles: Males have long, tusk-like mandibles (as seen in your photo), while females have shorter, stronger jaws.

Veined, translucent wings: Held tent-like over the body when at rest.

This weekend was the WRDGA show in Jefferson, OH. Unfortunately I couldn't find any chore help and was unable to show any does this year. I did, however, manage to sneak away from the farm long enough to take some bucks for the buck show.

Two Maples LT Lucky Legato *B was GCH & BBIS in ring 1! Legato is a yearling AI son of Hoanbu RIS Lady-A Lyric 1*M and Wingwood Farm Lucky Tolkien ++*B. Not the best picture of him as it was his first time off the farm and the weather turned cold after I clipped him, so he was not very happy.

Two Maples Dragon's Tempest *B was GCH & BBIS in ring 2! Tempest is 4 this year and has really come into his own. He is the son of Skyview LR Sixteen Candles 5*M and CH (pending) Camelot Cattle Co CR Pendragon *B. Tempest stamps all of his kids with those long, lovely ears for days.

These are our first best in show wins with animals carrying our herdname and we couldn't be prouder!

We've been absent from our farm page for quite some time dealing with some family matters, but we are gearing up for kidding season which will start in just a few more days! The past two days were spent replacing a couple cameras and adding one to a stall that never had one. Now all the stalls that are in use have a camera and soon the kid shed will have cameras too. Here's hoping for a smooth, uneventful kidding season for everyone!

It was a busy but awesome weekend at the Western Reserve DGA show! I took 6 milking does and 6 Jr's because it was a Nubian Specialty. Thank goodness for so many good goat friends that found time in their own busy show day to help me get the girls hauled back and forth from the ring and into the ring! Thank you everyone who helped me, I couldn't have done it without you! And thank you to the show committee and volunteers that once again put on a very well run show that went smoothly and efficiently all weekend long!

Two Maples Dragon's Veli Bej 4*M was 1st place 3 yo both days and GCH on Saturday, earning her leg. She only needs one more to finish! She was the only one I managed to get time to get a picture of this weekend. She still has a buck kid available!

Camelot Cattle Co O's Lizzie 3*M was 1st place 4 yo both days and GCH on Sunday. She also only needs one more leg to finish!

Hoanbu RIS Lady-A Lyric *M was first place aged doe both days and RGCH on Sunday

Two Maples PD Pink Sapphire was 2nd place 2 yo on Saturday out of 12, and 1st place Sunday out of 6. She also has an amazing buck kid still available.

Two Maples Dragon's Serengeti was 3rd and 4th in the 2 yo class

Two Maples Dragon's Pebbles was 4th and 5th in the 2 yo class.

Pink Sapphire, Serengeti and Veli Bej were 1st place get of sire of CH (p) Camelot Cattle Co CR Pendragon *B

Lyric, Veli Bej and JR does Sonata and Blondie made up our 1st place Breeder's herd

In the Junior show Two Maples Moonlight Sonata was 1st place dry yearling both days

Two Maples AA Blonde Bombshell was 1st place SR kid both days, Reserve on Saturday and GCH on Sunday, picking up her dry leg.

Two Maples Chim Chim Cher-ee was 1st place Intermediate kid ang GCH on Saturday, earning her dry leg. She was scratched from Sunday's show.

Two Maples CSDO Fancy Melody was 2nd and 3rd JR kid

Two Maples DT Sum Kinda Voodoo was 3rd and 4th Jr Kid

Sonata, Cher-ee and Melody made up my 1st place Jr get of sire of Two Maples BE Crescendo *B

And my adorable little token Saanen kid, Sunset-Dreams String of Pearls was 1st and 2nd Sr kid and Reserve both days!
