Hi, all! Let us introduce ourselves! We are Trail Town Development Association, (TTDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting economic development through tourism, recreation, and the arts for communities throughout Fayette and Westmoreland Counties.

Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned... they turn out even better.

We recently had the opportunity to raffle off a signed Gibson Hummingbird guitar from country music star Jo Dee Messina. What happened next was something none of us expected.

Jo Dee ended up purchasing the guitar herself and, to make the moment even more special, signed a guitar strap for us as well!

A huge thank you to Jo Dee for her generosity and support.

We also want to give a special shoutout to James Flynn, Thursa Crouse, Beth Hanzes, Kate Painter, Ryan's Tribute, Gibson Gives, the Trail Town Development Association, and Timber Rock Amphitheater for helping make this incredible experience possible. It takes great people and organizations working together to create memorable moments like this.

For those who purchased raffle tickets for the Gibson Hummingbird guitar, please know we have not forgotten about you. We are currently working through options to either reimburse ticket purchases or transfer those entries to another guitar, or possibly a guitar and strap signed by Jo Dee Messina, so that everyone who supported the fundraiser is treated fairly. We will provide an update as soon as those details are finalized.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to help support Tube Da Ville, our Guinness World Record attempt for the longest chain of interconnected tubes on the Youghiogheny River, taking place on August 1. We are excited to bring visitors to Connellsville, showcase our community, and create an unforgettable event for Fayette County.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone involved and for their continued support. Moments like these remind us how fortunate we are to have such amazing people and organizations helping make great things happen in our community.

🚨 WE ARE OFFICIALLY ABOUT 2 MONTHS OUT! 🚨

This photo is only about 1/3 of the tubes for our upcoming Guinness World Record attempt with the Yough River Rally at Trippy Hippie Brewing 🌊🍻

The current world record is 620 linked tubes… and we’re aiming to bring the record home to Connellsville and Fayette County! 🏆

And the craziest part?
Registration is officially FULL. 🤯

The support for this event has completely blown us away. Because of the overwhelming interest, we have officially started a waiting list in case additional spots become available.

Even if you aren’t floating, we would still LOVE for everyone to come out and be part of the celebration. We are planning a full day of fun with multiple stages, live bands throughout the day, local breweries, food, entertainment, and thousands of people gathering along the Yough River to celebrate this incredible moment for our community. 🎶🍻🌊

This event is bigger than just a world record — it’s about showcasing the Yough River, our trail towns, local businesses, and the incredible momentum happening in Connellsville and Fayette County.
