Mark your calendars for September 12th for our upcoming Moonshine Release, which is doubling as a special fundraiser for our distiller Brad McCullough and his family. Brad’s wife, Anna, recently suffered a brain bleed, and while we are praying continuously for her full recovery, we want to lift as much financial burden off their shoulders as possible.
To help raise funds, we will be auctioning and raffling off several rare, one-of-a-kind items:
* Custom Handmade Stills: Including the very last copper still made together by JB and Nick, as well as a handcrafted still donated by Don.
* JB’s Custom Rocking Chair Set: A signed, custom-built JB Rader rocking chair moonshine and shot glass holder, complete with jar.
* Don’s Rare Vintage Brandies: Don is donating two of his rarest, limited-edition bottles—a 7-Year Barrel Aged Plum Brandy (Bottle #4 of 36) and a 5-Year Barrel Aged Blackberry Brandy (Bottle #10 of 52), both complete with signed Certificates of Authenticity.

We are asking our community to lift up one of our own in prayer.

Last Friday, South Mountain Distilling Company distiller Brad McCullough left work early and found his wife, Anna, unconscious at home. She suffered a brain bleed and was emergency airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, where she underwent surgery to stop the bleeding. Anna remains unconscious on a ventilator, and their two young daughters are missing their mom terribly.

**How You Can Help:**

* **Keep Them in Your Prayers:** Please send your strength, hope, and prayers to Anna, Brad, and their little girls during this critical time.
* **Join Us on September 12th:** While talking with JB, Nick, and Tater about Brad’s family, we knew we had to step up. At our upcoming September 12th moonshine release event, we will be hosting a special raffle featuring items from JB, Tater, Big Nick, and South Mountain Distilling Company.

All proceeds from the raffle will go directly toward helping Brad’s family navigate this medical crisis. If you’ve been on the fence about coming out on September 12th, please know that your presence and support will directly impact a family who needs their community right now.
