We at Hilltop were proud of the tree that the historic town of Charlestown, MD acquired from us! This is a 15’ Canaan Fir! We don’t purposely try to grow and keep trees this tall, but sometimes things just work out.

Christmas trees from Hilltop Tree Farm have been delivered to Benjamins Store, 598 Rising Sun Road! There are some Fraser Firs, Canaan Firs, Douglas Firs, White Pines, and Blue Spruce, all very reasonably priced according to size and quality. They were all freshly cut this week. Will probably bring a second batch when these start running low

2025 Schedule – Open Friday, 28 Nov, 9:30-4:00-ish.
Hello everyone! The season is almost upon us – time for the 2025 update. Opening day (and maybe ONLY day) is the Friday after Thanksgiving, 28 Nov (9:30-4:00-ish), while supplies last. A decision will be made on Friday afternoon as to whether or not we will be open Saturday. This year we have an abundant supply of Douglas Fir, some Canaan Fir, with a small number of large White Pine.
Pricing: No price increase this year. Almost all of the trees in the field will be $90 (with a $10 discount for cash). Again this year, there will be a selection of premium trees (approximately 10% of the total trees available) in the 9-14′ range, which will be individually marked at $100-$170 ($10 discount for cash). If you choose one of the premium trees, please tear off the bottom of the tag on the tree and bring it with you to the building when you pay. There will be some pre-cut trees of various heights and prices available on our display rack, including Fraser Firs, also individually marked. We include complimentary shaking and wrapping of your tree.
Miscellaneous: A large selection of beautifully decorated wreaths will be available for your holiday decor. And as always, free wagon rides for all and our delicious hot dogs, homemade cookies, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, soda and water will be available for purchase.

As predicted, we had a very busy day at the farm today and will not be open tomorrow.

Towards the end of next week we will be taking some very nice trees of all sizes to Benjamins Store, 598 Rising Sun Road.

We just took what will likely be the last delivery of trees to Benjamins Store, 598 Rising Sun Road. There are mostly Douglas Fir in the 7-8 foot range with average price $45-50.
