Y’all know my daughter and I are obsessed with tea, but she’s also really into herbs and natural remedies— even more than me! Our tea cabinet needed a restock, and instead of hitting the grocery store, I wanted something fresh. I was specifically looking for lemon balm tea because it helps with digestion, bloating, anxiety, sleep—you name it.
So, I hit up Google and found a 5-star tea shop that just so happened to be close to my daughter's school. Perfect, right? I decided to surprise her after school, but BAYBEEEE, we were the ones who got surprised!
As soon as we walked in, the owner—a beautiful Black woman—greeted us like family:
"Hey friends, come on in! I’ve got some tea already brewing for you. It’s cold outside, and we have to warm you up."
Y’ALL. I FELT LIKE I WAS AT MY FAVORITE AUNTIE OR GRANNY’S HOUSE!!!
This lady LOVESSSSSSSSS what she does, and you can tell from the way she’s poured her heart into her business. Every detail, every tea blend, every story behind it—it was just EVERYTHING. She’s got teas for stress, hormone balancing, energy, periods, sickness, menopause—ANYTHING you can think of! And let me tell you, every single blend she let us taste was PERFECTION.
But the best part? She’s a Christian. Her spirit, her warmth, the way she served us—it moved me.
So, if you can’t stop by in person, will you at least support her by ordering online or liking her page? There is absolutely NO REASON her following shouldn’t be in the thousands. Let’s help her out!
