Rachel had an appointment this morning, so I’m working the store. Wow, It’s cold outside. It seems everyone is getting ready to go to a tropical location for spring break, except me. I’m staying right here. I was looking for something tropical in the store to cheer me up. I discovered that isn’t easy in a retail store full of Indiana Local products, but I found a few things. I think I’m gonna make some Copper Moon Costa Rican coffee, smell this Pineapple air freshener, eat some peach rings, and wait for spring to arrive. Come visit me!

Rachel had an appointment,so I am working the store this morning. She just received a new shipment from Amish Country Dairy and I just noticed salted caramel flavor is back, or as i like to call it, “flat hat crack”. This stuff is amazing!!!!!! If you haven’t tried it, have you ever really lived? Come see me!

We’re all ready for the Piazza Produce 2025 Piazza Bowl at Lucas Oil Stadium. If you’re at the show, be sure to stop by and say hi! It’s great to be set up with our peeps, Uncle Al’s Breading and Chef Bricker's Brick House Vinaigrettes. This place feels like home. I even found a pulling tractor and some blown and injected Hemis. We’re ready for a great show!

If you’re visiting the Indiana State Fair this weekend, be sure to stop in the Mercantile Building (formerly Ag/Horticulture) and check out the Indiana Grown Marketplace. You will find over 550 amazing Indiana made and grown products. You just might find some Healthy Hoosier Oil there to!

Beauty is a fleeting thing. For everything there is a season, and the season of blooming sunflowers is winding down. They are maturing and turning down. This means harvest is right around the corner. You are still more than welcome to come see the field, but just be aware, the Sunflowers won’t be nearly as photogenic as they were just a few days ago. Our farm store, Rachel’s Taste of Indiana will return to normal hours starting tomorrow (7/30)
Tuesday -Friday 10am to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 1pm
Closed Sunday and Monday
This has been a great season. We have had no issues whatsoever with all the visitors to the field. Thank you all for your continued support of Rachel's taste of Indiana and Healthy Hoosier Oil. We couldn’t do what we do without your support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
