Today we got to attend the Dispersal sale at WMC Cattle Company and the cattle were absolutely superb. I was extremely grateful to be able to add lot 162, lot 163, and additionally honored to be able to add Lot 236 the final cow of the sale and the daughter of JB POLLED TROJAN the foundation sire for WMC. This female goes back to some of the Herefords my grandfather used to have so to say I’m excited would be an understatement Her legacy along with the JB Polled Trojan bloodline will continue strong and hardy at Storie Farms!

These two stout line one horned Hereford bulls are still available to breed some cows whether that be registered or commercial there sure to put the pounds to those calves. They’ll be turning 2 years old in February been semen and trich tested and had all their vaccinations and been dna tested as well and free of all known defects. Another one of the Herdsire pictures taken by ShowMe Genetic Services they do a great job!! This great horned bull is JAK L1 DOMINO J56 the only yearling bull calf to ever be sold from Oleen Brothers and my pick of 360 head of bulls he may not have the best epds but you’d be hard pressed to find a bull this big and stout and he sure passes it on to his calves. The calves pictured below are 6months of age and will be weaned here this weekend and will probably average 800lbs or more right off the cow with only 1,000lbs of creep feed. We had some Sire pictures taken at ShowMe Genetic Services and this is our youngest Herdsire C&L TIMBER H033 32M a super heifer bull ranking in the top 1&2% for Teat and Udder. We acquired him from C&L’s dispersal sale as a bull calf and boy had he turned out can’t wait to see his calves coming this February!
