Despite some challenges with bad weather, closed roads, and health issues with my best guy, we had a great ADGA Dairy Goat Show at the Cumberland County Fair today.
Thank you to my Judge, Peter Snyder for being such a great judge and so fun to work with.
Thank you to my secretary, Jennifer Mellett, who had all the work and stress of me changing up the show this year. We did milkers first, for the first time ever at the fair. It was really nice to get all the milking done, earlier in the day.
Thank you to Sera Holt, who took a day from her family, job, and very busy schedule, to volunteer as ring steward and keep me on track for the day.
Everyone should also thank my Dream Team, Dara, Marley, and Eliot Guptill. They took complete care of my animals and setting them up, while I Chaired the show. I could not be chairing the show without them. The Guptill's ARE a Dream.
Congratulations to Phil Cassette of Chateau Briant Farm for his Senior Best Doe in Show win!
I was especially proud of my fancy, little May kid who won Best Junior Doe in Show... She has always been my favorite.
Rams KNQST Glamor Girl, is following in her Mother's footsteps.
And, yes, I cried when she won.
