Founded in 1973, Douglas Companies is a full-line convenience store distributor. Douglas Companies, Inc. through to future generations.

opened its doors for business on July 30, 1973, in Texarkana, Arkansas. Bob Douglas, the company founder, had become interested in the wholesale to***co and candy business and thought it would be a good time to start his own business; so, in 1973, he and four other employees began what is now one of the most successful convenience products distribution businesses in the mid-south region of the US. Douglas Companies looks a lot different than it did in 1973; but, the important things have stayed the same. Our commitment to being an outstanding convenience supplier and keeping our customer's interests at heart still drive our company. With these objectives as our goal, we are sure to see the Douglas Companies, Inc.

A Remarkable Team Achievement

We’re extremely proud of our Douglas Companies Purchasing Team, WAM Coordinator, and Sales\Merchandising Team for being the recipient of three WAMMY Awards, including Best Distributor Program Ex*****on.

Douglas works hard to maximize the rebates our customers earn through participating WAM manufacturers. It takes strong purchasing, accurate program management, and a sales team focused on helping our customers capture every available opportunity.

WAM is made up of 24 independent distributors and ranks 3rd in total customer purchase volume in the convenience store channel, making this recognition especially meaningful.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to our customers for trusting Douglas Companies with your business.

Great job, Team Douglas!
