Founded in 1973, Douglas Companies is a full-line convenience store distributor. Douglas Companies, Inc. through to future generations.

opened its doors for business on July 30, 1973, in Texarkana, Arkansas. Bob Douglas, the company founder, had become interested in the wholesale to***co and candy business and thought it would be a good time to start his own business; so, in 1973, he and four other employees began what is now one of the most successful convenience products distribution businesses in the mid-south region of the US.

Douglas Companies looks a lot different than it did in 1973; but, the important things have stayed the same. Our commitment to being an outstanding convenience supplier and keeping our customer's interests at heart still drive our company. With these objectives as our goal, we are sure to see the Douglas Companies, Inc.

🚨 **IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATE – REYNOLDS PRODUCT AVAILABILITY** 🚨

We want to provide a clear and direct update regarding current out-of-stocks on certain Reynolds products.

These supply disruptions are being caused by ongoing changes within Reynolds’ warehousing and transportation network, which are impacting product availability across the entire market.

**Let us be clear:**
👉 Douglas Companies is **NOT** experiencing operational issues on our end.

Our procurement team is in constant communication with Reynolds and is working aggressively to secure product and restore inventory levels as quickly as possible.

The Douglas Companies team just wrapped an incredible trip to the 2025 SLD Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah! 🇺🇸✨

Day 1 was all about networking with peers from across our industry and touring the Freezing Point (Frazil) campus. The commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction was obvious everywhere we turned—from CEO Kyle Freebairn’s passion for his people and his product to the company’s focus on work–life balance throughout the organization. ❄️🥤
Special thanks to Reid Langston Frazil CRO for organizing.

Day 2 we invested in ourselves as we spent the entire day together learning from 3-time Olympian Shannon Bahrke. 🥇 Her approach to success—both personally and professionally—really hit home:
