There’s just something about seeing pigs out on pasture that feels like the way it’s supposed to be.

Ours have plenty of open pasture to roam, along with woods for shade and rooting around. They spend their days grazing, rooting, exploring, and finding a comfortable spot to lay down.

One thing that always stands out is how much cleaner they stay when they have plenty of room to move around. They aren’t confined to a small muddy area. They have space to spread out and just be pigs.

It takes more space and a little more work, but we wouldn’t want to raise them any other way.

Pasture, woods, sunshine, shade, and plenty of room to roam. Just pigs being pigs at Blue Tractor Farm. 🐷

We still have a few half and whole pigs available this fall. If you’re interested, send us a message!

Last week’s weather gave us a good window to get some hay baled at Blue Tractor Farm. We still have plenty more to cut and bale, but this week’s rain has us hitting the pause button. That’s farming—always working around the weather!

We’re thankful for what we got done and looking forward to getting back in the field when things dry out.
