People think I'm crazy for how much I love these birds. Yes they can be a little loud sometimes, but it's usually for good reason. Yes they wander some, but always come back home. Yes they are pretty wild for the most part, but occasionally come over to say hi like this lavender boy. The biggest reason I have them is that I have yet to see a snake on my property since I got them and never find ticks on any of my animals. I absolutely love my funky chickens!

We now have quail eggs available to purchase from Howlin Wolf Ranch! $6/dozen

These eggs may be tiny, but are more nutrient dense, meaning they provide more protein, vitamins and minerals, per gram compared to a chicken egg. They're higher in B12, iron and choline. Due to their higher yolk to white ratio they're richer and much creamier in texture.

Hadlee LOVES them hard boiled and they only take 4 minutes to cook. She pops them as a healthy protein snack.

This is Princess Peach. Princess Peach has her own little pond and get to go for swims in the mornings while her mom enjoys her coffee. Makes me happy to know my ducks go to homes where people thoroughly enjoy them!

This was my first year incubating and selling ducklings from my flock and I'm loving getting pictures of them growing up. Everyone so far has been very happy with their babies, which makes me happy.
