Red finally released her hostage! We was hoping for another heifer from red but we will definitely take a live healthy calf!

Ya'll I think we will be having goat babies sooner rather than later.

Miss Beauty is bred to our Jr herdsire Mr Achilles. He has already produced some gorgeous kids earlier this year!

Miss Beauty's udder has popped and she is so uncomfortable. Let's hope and pray for a first freshener she does okay and everything goes smoothly. I think she already has the milk making down! I just hope she understands the mothering part and she will love and take care of her babies!

We will be separating her into her very one birthing suite, probably this evening

Just once I wish we could get through a full hay season without something breaking.

After some breaking and fixing, all of our 1st cutting of hay is finished! Not as many as we would have hoped for but it's hay and with the weather last year, we can only hope and pray to get a 2nd and hopefully a 3rd cutting to make up for it.

Maverick and Jett Black were let out to meet the herd today! Hopefully they are big enough to service some ladies! If so we may have baby calves mid march. Fingers crossed 🤞

It's about time...momma Ruthie finally released her hostage that we have been waiting for. Even though she added a set of testicles to him. She is being a great momma. Everyone we have another bull calf. Pretty sure his name is going to be Ruthless, as he did need alittle assistance being born. He became hiplocked and as his momma was standing he was telling her to push. This big guy has a set of lungs on him already!
