2025 will be a year of bringing Gay Dude Food into it's next phase. Three goals this year are to up the presentation and transportation of food, consistently update and post on www.gaydudefood.com and....drum roll please! Begin writing my cookbook.

Winner of "Best Feature Documentary" at the 2024 Interrobang Film Festival, "Heart Sisters" tells the story of two girls, ages 6 and 2, from separate families who formed a close bond while living in a pediatric hospital as they both awaited life-saving heart transplants. Alongside their emotional journeys, this hour-long documentary takes viewers into the operating room and shares insights from medical professionals on all that goes into coordinating a heart transplant.

Volunteered with Children's Minnesota for Mental Health Awareness Day at the Minnesota State Fair. It was sweaty for sure. And these cookies were well earned.

Busy morning in the Gay Dude Food Test Kitchen. I used yesterday's smoked brisket and created a Brisket sandwich with chili aioli sauce, topped with pickles and sliced red bell pepper. Dish 2 is a play on Toad in a Hole. Toasted Texas Bread, slightly over medium egg in the center. Diced brisket on top, drizzled with Yum Yum sauce, melted cheese and diced green onions.

On Monday I administered CPR, First Aid including AED to someone unresponsive in the area. Unfortunately, this person did not respond to rescue efforts from myself and other community member’s and healthcare professionals.

Why am I sharing this? I want no attention (ironic as I post), accolades or anything but this.

Anyone, ANYONE can get trained in CPR, First Aid and AED! You can attempt to save a life!

Don’t be afraid of the AED. It will tell you what to do.
