Middlefield Orchard is a local apple orchard growing fresh fruits and vegetables in the Cooperstown N.Y. area.

2026 CSA contracts are now available for sign-up until Saturday, May 30th. CSA contracts are available on our website, middlefieldorchard.com or at any of our farm stands, Cooperstown, Delhi, and/or Oneonta.

If paying by credit card, the contract must be signed and submitted with a note requesting us to call you to confirm the transaction.

Full shares include seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables for 16 weeks at $500 per contract starting on the last full week of June.

Half shares include seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables every other week for a total of 8 weeks at $260 per contract starting the last full week of June or the first week of July.

Our staff looks forward to serving you this upcoming harvest season with the blessings of a bountiful crop.

Where I want to be right now. In the strawberry patch, but unfortunately, we need to be patient until mid-June.

Springtime: Busy time in the orchard, pruning apple trees, raspberry plants, blueberry bushes, and blackberry bushes. Mulching strawberry and blueberry fields. Replacing damaged apple trees (deer, rabbits, voles, and weather) with new varieties, planting a few hundred raspberry plants, and thousands of new strawberry plants as we rotate strawberry fields. Sprouting new seeds in the greenhouse for field planting. Prepping the fields for planting vegetable seeds and various plants. Replacing bee colonies that did not survive the extreme cold winter.

2026 U-Pick options in addition to our current offerings of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples and pumpkins we have now included peas and green beans.

Still have a great selection of apples, veggies, baked goods, cider donuts, jams and jellies. The orchard store will be OPEN every Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm through the month of November. Saturday, November 22nd will be the last day of the 2025 season for the store to be open. You can find us year around in the Cooperstown farmers market and in the Oneonta Public market. Hope to see you soon.

Apple season is well underway. Started spot picking Honeycrisp today. U-Pick is currently open for Honeycrisp, Zestar, Gala, Pristine and Dandee Red. Mid-season apples are right around the corner.
Corn maze and hay fort are now available at no cost.
Winter squash and pumpkins available
Still have canning tomatoes and great deals on bulk bags.
The orchard is open Monday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm. Make wonderful family memories - look forward to seeing you soon.

Everbearing raspberries and Zestar apples are ready to be harvested - this is an invitation to all u-pickers. This weekend is Family Farm Day at the orchard on what appears to be a beautiful summer day. Lots of our famous Sparkling Cider along with homemade jams, baked goods, fresh sweet corn and some sweet tasting melons. Bags of green peppers and sweet onions at a bargain price. Tomatoes ready for canning - perfect time to prepare for winter.
