Starting April 27, 2026, DeVries Meats will be making a change to our custom processing services. We will be partnering with our other family business, Byron Center Meats for the actual processing.
We will still be accepting hog drop-offs, doing all slaughter here at DeVries, and taking cutting instructions just like always.
After slaughter, orders will be sent to Byron Center Meats for cutting, packaging, and pickup.
Any smoked items in your order will still be prepared by DeVries Meats, but all finished orders, including smoked items, will be picked up at Byron Center Meats after they notify you it is ready.
We believe this change will provide several benefits for our customers, including:
● Increased capacity during busy seasons
● Continued high-quality cutting and packaging
● The same DeVries smoked products and personal service you are used to
We have confidence in Byron Center Meats and are working closely with them to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Due to the holiday, we will be closing early Thursday, July 3rd at 3pm and closed all day Friday, July 4th. All roasters will need to be picked up by 2:30pm on Thursday. Thank you for your cooperation and have a Happy 4th of July!

Beginning Monday 6-9-25 DeVries Meats will be accessible from Southbound 80th Ave. traffic only due to the county performing road construction. Follow the posted detour if coming from South of DeVries Meats
