Update for the Market Shed 06.26.26:

Eggs - I’m using a green (available) /red (sold out) sign on top of our egg sign by the road when we have eggs available in the market shed. See picture for current as of today stock. Caveat being if they sell out while I’m gone I might not be able to catch the sign immediately. I typically have some unwashed available, but with the heat coming next week I’ll probably pull those inside the house - PM me if you’d like to arrange pick up. Otherwise, the market shed will continue to have refrigerated eggs.

Rhubarb still in season! I have LOTS so if you need a bunch let me know. $2 per bundle! Due to lack of sales I’m not stocking it in the refrigerator so PM me if you need some or a lot. 😊

Asparagus - season is pretty much done.

Popcorn - Have plenty of ruby red popcorn for popping at the moment, will try to get a few more varieties out soon.

Garden is in! Stay tuned.

Sweet Corn was planted at the end of May so we anticipate our normal early August opening. More being planted weekly so we will have it for many many weeks. Follow this page for updates!

Update for the Market Shed 05.29.2026:

Eggs - I’m using a green (available) /red (sold out) sign on top of our egg sign by the road when we have eggs available in the market shed. Caveat being if they sell out while I’m gone I might not be able to catch the sign immediately. Currently about 4 dozen washed and 1 dozen unwashed if that is your preference.

Rhubarb still in season! I have LOTS so if you need a bunch let me know. For now I will have 2 to 3 bundles in the refrigerator at a time. $2 per bundle!

Asparagus - I have a small plot, pick it as it becomes available, have it in cups in the refrigerator and priced based on size/weight. This is a real “early bird gets the worm” and “luck of the draw” on when I have it. As you can see… currently there are a few cups.

Popcorn - Have plenty of ruby red popcorn for popping at the moment, will try to get a few more varieties out soon.

The Market Shed is officially open for 2026! 19000 68th Avenue, Coopersville… just south of Wilson Road.

Starting with eggs and popcorn, but Rhubarb will be coming soon!! Washed eggs are in the refrigerator and unwashed will be on the table.

Cost per dozen:

Medium = $2
Large = $3.50
Extra Large = $4
JUMBO = $5

Well the groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter so our chickens are still hibernating and dreaming of summer. 25 new chickens coming online “soon” but until Mother Nature decides to quit the white stuff the market shed will remain closed. Will update when we open for 2026!

Update on the market shed - we will have the market shed open tomorrow, Saturday, November 15th only for the remaining 5-6 dozen eggs we have available while supplies last and popcorn sales. After that I will be shutting the shed for the winter and egg and popcorn sales will be by private message or special posts only. The girls are slowing down in their egg production for the winter and my current promised customers will use most if not all of those. We will plan on seeing most of you around April 2026 when the weather hopefully will be warm enough to open the shed back up!
