Coos Food Cupboard:
For the month of June, we ask you to consider the furry clients of the Coos Food Cupboard. Dog & cat food are items that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits by our clients with furry companions and is a vital need. Along with donations of pet food, we also need sealing plastic bags (like Ziploc) so we can portion and distribute the dry dog and/or cat food that is donated.

Donations of grocery bags and egg cartons are another immediate need. Please feel free to leave donations in the Coos Food Cupboard bin in the undercroft entrance or drop off during parish office hours.

Please also consider a monetary donation to the Coos Food Cupboard. Please make checks out to “Coos Food Cupboard”. Checks can be dropped off in the parish office or mailed to P.O. Box 1028, Coos Bay, OR 97420.

Thank you as always for your generosity and support of the Coos Food Cupboard!

Thanks So It Goes Coffeehouse!

First barrel is up!

We officially dropped off our first Closing the Hunger Gap donation barrel at So It Goes Coffeehouse today! Huge thank you to their team for helping us collect food for the Coos Food Cupboard and support local families right here in our community.

If you’re grabbing coffee, swing by, say hi, and consider dropping in a non-perishable food item while you’re there. Every can gets us closer to our goal of 1,000 pounds of food this year!

Thank you, So It Goes, for helping us close the hunger gap. 💙☕🥫

Thank you to Emmanuel Episcopal Church and our community for all their support in 2025. As you all know, it was a difficult year for many to make ends meet. Without your contributions, we would not have been able to meet those needs.

Thank you to Ripple Effect Chorus and Summer Wind Ensemble for the amazing concert they held to support the Coos Food Cupboard. In total $307.00 and several pounds of shelf stable food items were donated to help continue our important ministry of feeding the hungry and the food insecure in our community.

An extra special thanks to Susi Mendizabal and all her holiday party guests who came together in community and generosity to collect a large donation of shelf stable food items for the food cupboard.
Thank you, All!

For the month of January, the food cupboard would appreciate donations of rice and/or oatmeal. Thank you for your continued support of the Coos Food Cupboard.

Coos Food Cupboard:
For the month of December, the food cupboard would appreciate donations of canned soup. Hearty soups make a comforting and filling meal for those neighbors of ours that are food insecure.

If you prefer to make a monetary donation to the Coos Food Cupboard, please make your check out to “Coos Food Cupboard” and mail it to P.O. Box 1028, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
