We also help other farmer's ship in products to keep Alaska production growing. We're a small farmstead on an original homestead by Willow Creek, Alaska near Copper Center. It's an adventure and experience as we are new to farming, but our family works hard to reach our dreams for this place. I'm majoring is Sustainable Food and Farming and putting this into practice on the farm. This farm has a passion for finding what works, grows, and thrives in our unique climate and helping others do the same. We aren't just aiming to make our farm successful, we want to help others to do the same! We raise a variety of livestock and crops. This variety is always growing as we strive for diversity to help our farm grow and reach a sustainable and regenerative state. We are using nature as an example and our LGDs help keep a balance between the farm and wildness that surrounds us. Our goals, passion, and drive for this 140 acres in always evolving as we learn more and experiment to further create a balance in this ecosystem. This whole systems approach makes for a slower progress than I want at times, but "anything worth doing, is worth doing right."
