Last night's surprise! Our trees have been generous this season! Come visit us this weekend for our Maple Weekend Open House!

We will be open
Saturday 9am-1pm
Sunday 10am-4pm

Learn and see how we turn this clear sap from our sugar maple trees into various grades of maple syrup and other delicious treats! 🍁

There will be pancakes for you to sample our syrup on, and there might even be some delicious maple chili. 🥞

Making syrup always makes for a good morning!

After an early morning setback, dad and I replaced some O-rings in the reverse osmosis system and we are up and running again. We have over 1000 gallons of sap to get through today, and the trees are still running! 🍁

We love to see this! Our raw maple sap sugar content is at 2.5%. Based on the Jones Rule of 86, this estimates that we only need about 34.4 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup.

Does anyone know what the sugar content of our finished maple syrup is? Leave your guess in the comments! 🍁 🥞
