FYI…this upcoming week will be the last week we will have Nightingale’s Dairy in stock. Nightingale’s is changing direction and will not be bottling raw milk anymore, we are sad to see them go as we and many of our customers love their products, please know we are actively working to find another vendor to use. In the meantime, stop in to get some, and some Cookie Jar of Maine cookies to go with the milk and might as well get some sourdough, bacon and eggs for a yummy breakfast!! Freezer is stocked, say hi to the cows and take home some yummy food for the fam!

It was another GREAT weekend at the Fryeburg Youth Show! With a stellar turn out of belties, we were fortunate enough to win Grand Champion Belted Galloway Female and Fifth Overall Youth Heifer with Casa Cattle Happily Ever After. We are very excited about the future of this young female and can't wait to see what other good things she will continue to do for us!

🐑 Today's youth spotlight is Abby Caron. Abby is a former 4-H member of Penobscot Livestock 4-H Club and has participated in Bangor Fair for over 10 years. Abby showed and participated in the Market Auction program at Bangor State Fair raising market lambs and market steers that were sold to local businesses. Abby along with other members of Penobscot Livestock Club raised these animals and used the money from the auction to help pay for college and other livestock projects. Abby says her 4-H projects have been a huge part of shaping how she learned time management, responsibility and so much more.

Although Abby is no longer part of 4-H as she has aged out she still helps out the younger members of the club, mentoring and guiding them to be respectful and responsible young adults. She continues to work with livestock on her family's farm and will be back at Bangor State Fair with her animals.
