Alma always amazes me with his ability to know when a cow or calf needs extra support. Because he knows his herd, he can give each the attention needed to thrive. This is the kind of thing no one sees but me…he spends countless hours making sure they are taken care of.

This little heifer is a little under the weather, not really sure why! But Alma noticed and is watching her very carefully. Currently giving her electrolytes to make sure she is getting fluids she needs.

Pictured is Beauty and her mama River watching anxiously over her baby girl. Jerseys are the best at mothering their babies.

Our maintenance workers are working hard to get the campground ready for opening! They are GREAT with lawn care - not the best with fixing fences or other needed work. Oh well, we’ll take what we can get. 😜

In the winter our cows are only let out to pasture when conditions are safe and clean for the them. In Utah, weather gets wet and mucky. So that means cleaning their area multiple times a week for us.

(This year the cows got to be out on pasture up till Christmas! So crazy!)

We work extra hard to make sure their alfalfa bales are changed often if they get wet, and clean bedding is provided. Taking care of them so that they can provide the best milk for us ♥️

Christmas is my favorite. I love giving and receiving. It’s such a beautiful part of life. Ebb and flow. Life and death. Give and receive. Christmas is a reminder to me of the greatest gift I have. Jesus Christ’s birth and His love. I love my family. We all can live together for eternity because of Christ.
