Everyone has their own version of happiness… their own version of peace.
For some, it’s a neighborhood full of laughter—cookouts, game nights, and friendly waves across the fence. For others, it’s the fast-paced rhythm of the city—the lights, the energy, the endless things to do.
For me… it’s this. 🤍
It’s waking up early on our land, wrapping my hands around a warm cup of Sister & Sage tea. It’s opening the door and letting the dogs run free as they make their morning rounds, checking on everything like they’re part of the farm’s heartbeat.
It’s sitting on my porch swing, a blanket wrapped around me, breathing in that crisp Kentucky morning air…watching the moon quietly say goodbye while the sun begins to rise.
This is my dream. This is my peace.
Yesterday was one of those full, beautiful days—Hot tomatillo salsa simmering on the stove,Strawberry jam made from our farm’s own berries,Kentucky bourbon orange marmalade (with a little habanero heat… and some without),Chow chow,A few batches of soap finished,And time spent in the greenhouse where we spotted baby tomatoes already growing. 🌱
Today brings more of the same kind of joy—More greenhouse tending,Finishing up orange marmalade,Starting a Kentucky bourbon pear marmalade,And baking an upside-down orange marmalade cake (we’ll see if it earns a spot in our offerings 😉).
I’ve also got tea blends resting and deepening in flavor, getting ready to be packaged for Family Tree Consignment and our upcoming pop-up table…And sourdough bread in the works to pair perfectly with our jams, jellies, and marmalades.
These are the days that fill my soul. The simple ones. The busy ones. The meaningful ones.
Thank you for being here… and for letting me share a little piece of our Dream Weaver Farm life with you. 🌿🤍
