We harvest pure local honey from bees on our farm, grow field corn and produce stone ground cornmeal, and harvest our own locally grown produce. Our goal is to connect with the community by providing people with quality farm to table products. Although we have just ventured out into the community as a small business, the Strange family has been farming, grinding corn, and raising bees for decades.

:: Stone Ground Cornmeal ::
For the stone ground cornmeal, we use a
stone burr, wood case mill made by the Meadows Mill Co. in 1926 to produce our stone ground products. To insure that we offer the freshest and most delicious products, we use only our locally grown, field dried corn.

Our honey is 100% antibiotic and chemical free, natural, pure, and raw honey made from the nectar of plants and trees surrounding our farm. The harvest season for fresh, local, raw and unfiltered honey starts for us in late May and continues into summer. We do not add anything to our honey nor do we take anything out of it. We process the honey straight from the hive through a course strainer to remove any unwanted debris . Our hives are antibiotic and chemical free which keeps our honey pure. Our honey is also raw and natural. This means that it is unprocessed and just like the bees made it. It is unpasteurized and unheated. Because our honey is unprocessed it still contains all of its nature properties {taste, smell, and enzyme actions} as well as the healthy benefits of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The flavor and color of our honey may vary from year to year, but you can rest assured that the pure local honey from the Strange Farm is the best honey you will ever taste.
:: Fresh Produce ::
All of our produce is locally grown on the Strange family farm. We have about 2 acres stretched out over the property that we use for growing all of our produce.
