Antiquity Oaks Antiquity Oaks was created as a homestead by the Niemann-Boehle family in 2002 and is now a teaching farm, educating others in sustainable living skills.

In 2002, the Niemann-Boehle family moved to the country to start growing their own food organically. Over the years, their children grew up and moved away, and today Antiquity Oaks LLC has become a teaching farm where people can attend classes, participate in residential farm internships, and volunteer to learn more about sustainable living.

To move sheep from one area to another, it's often helpful to create a lane by putting temporary fencing a few feet away from a permanent fence. Then you just get behind the sheep, and they move away from you to wherever the lane leads them.
