I have been reflecting a lot on this past year while making Christmas loaves for family and friends. I have not been on this page as much because honestly… life. After moving twice in a year’s time, new job, new town, new priorities, it was BUSY. Now, I am hoping to slow down a bit in the new year and focus on my granny hobbies again. I have lot of fun new goals for 2026 involving flowers, chickens, pumpkins, bread and some amazing friends and family. With that, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and stay tuned for the rest! Pictured today: fresh artisan bread for my daughter’s teacher, with dried zinnias from my garden, a sprig from my Christmas tree, and dried oranges from my neighbors tree.

Excited to announce our 2025 available breeds for this spring. If you want a colorful rainbow egg basket this year, look no further. These breeds will provide you with blue, olive, sage, chocolate and tan eggs. These are easily my favorite breeds. Each year I integrate a few new breeds to test out to see if they are a good fit for my breeding program. New this year is the German Bielefelder and Isbar. I will be highlighting each breed individually, so follow along!

We added a new friend to the homestead. Scarlett named him Rainbow Roxy😂 He is the sweetest Holland Lop bunny, and we are in love.

Chick season is showing down and this will be my last time offering Ameraucanas so get them while you can! I can always do custom orders and have available in incubate: black copper Marans, olive eggers, mystic marans, and many more breeds coming this fall. If interested in roosters for meat consumption please message me. I am also in the process of selecting breeding stock for fall and next spring. I may have some year old hens to part with if interested.
