Happy Friday y’all! I know you guys have been patiently waiting for a sneak peek of the menu! 👀

I have to preface this announcement with: It is subject to change. We have been dealing with trying to figure out the best equipment and flow to work with the current set up in our building without having to do a major overhaul. It’s a small building, with limited hood room and we have BIG dreams! The menu has changed at least 20 times! 😂

Now that’s out of the way…we must also announce that in addition to the scratch made, down home, authentic southern cooking you’ll see on our menu, we plan to feature weekly plate specials, soups, family style dinners, and fun community events to bring the whole family together! So stay tuned for all the goodness that’s soon to come your way! 💜

Happy Friday everyone! We finally have some tangible progress to share on our new location at 1522 Solano St. in Corning. After a couple months of grinding on the inside and getting our new place in tip top shape, we’ve got a beautiful visual on the outside in progress! Everyday it’s starting to feel a little more like “ours”. ☺️

We are pushing very hard for an August opening. There was a lot more work than we expected and so I feel a little deflated in our progress, but we’re pushing as hard as we can.

In the meantime, I’ve also been working on the menu. I’ll be sharing that next week. I know you guys are waiting patiently.

It’s been nice meeting everyone who keeps stopping by to see what we’re doing. We look forward to serving you soon! ❤️

Happy Saturday and Mother’s Day weekend everyone! It’s been awhile since I made a post here, but we’ve done a thing and the cat is already out of the bag just 5 days in, so we might as well make the official update. We had hoped to announce when we had a more solid timeline.

BUT…

BABS is reopening and moving to Corning! We are currently cleaning the building, prepping for remodel, and have no solid opening date other than “a couple months”.

Our new location is at 1522 Solano Street.

Below is our building and our quick ChatGPT mock up of the new vibe we’re gonna be laying down.

What to expect:
All of our classic Cajun, southern, and soul food items you loved before PLUS some new additions!
