Nearly 20 FBI agents were spotted at the late Senator Lindsey Graham's Washington D.C. home on Monday, less than 48 hours after his passing, sparking a wave of speculation online. FBI Director Kash Patel said the bureau was "assisting local authorities," and Metropolitan Police confirmed they are leading the investigation into Graham's passing. The chief medical examiner preliminarily ruled he passed away from aortic dissection due to cardiovascular disease, though comprehensive toxicological testing is still underway.

The FBI's visible presence, including agents carrying a manila folder from a large black container outside the home, has fueled theories as to why the agency was there. Trump biographer Seth Abramson alleged on social media that the FBI's involvement gave Trump and Kash Patel cover to enter Graham's home and remove potentially incriminating documents.

When asked about the FBI's presence, Trump shrugged: "I think the FBI is wasting their time if they're doing that." The White House has not provided further explanation for the bureau's involvement.

In protecting Elon Musk's xAI, the Department of Justice argued the company should be allowed to violate the Clean Air Act simply because the Trump administration says so.
