Take Back Rancho Tehama

Take Back Rancho Tehama Here, we hope, the members of the Community will gather to discuss the issues of the influx of commercial marijuana growers who are taking over the Ranch.

We are not 'anti-marijuana'. We are 'anti-lawlessness' that accompanies commercial growers. The effects of these farms hurt the community in a number of ways: failure to take part in the community in a positive manner; failure to maintain HOA fees, causing the balance of the Community to subsidize them; raping the landscape by clearcutting the trees and scalping the soil; potential contamination

of the groundwater with the intense fertilizers used; causing the drop of the water table in watering over 20,000 plants (this is low, but the 2013 count) which require 1.5 gallons every two days; presenting a site for violence by those wishing to invade the grow properties for theft.

Looks like things are beginning to happen. It's just speculation, but why else would we have a helicopter over RTR for 45 minutes this morning other than getting photos?

Water transport has begun. Time to begin reporting anything seen having to do with non-compliant ma*****na cultivation. 527-8020/

Hearing rumors that greenhouses are being put to work now. Anyone aware of it? A greenhouse does not meet the requirements of Tehama County pot ordinances.

If anyone doubts the harvest has occurred, a look at all the new vehicles out here will prove it. Since this page is, basically, to address the illegal pot grows, and there are a few new pages out dealing with RTR, expect it to be very quiet here for some time

Just read a post claiming that Ruth has been using RTR staff, while on duty, to do personal work for her. Anyone have any information on this?

Seems Mr. Caravez was cited for one of his grows. Thank goodness he's in a position to enforce the rules and regulations...

Total citations given for the year of 2014 was 127. Total to August 24 of this year, with more to come, has been 160. Stats below.

Just read a post that Paula Skubic (betsy sanders' significant other) and Anders (my loyalty is to those who support me) White are now the entire 'covenants committee'. Betsy, by the way, is part-owner of a property against which numerous complaints have been filed by the members of the association, and against which complaints have been filed TO the planning department of the (God forbid they should be allowed on our PRIVATE roads) county of Tehama. Good choices, Juan.

Soooooooooo.... it seems that the 'board' has decided to try to prevent county vehicles from using the roads on RTR, emergency vehicles excepted. This is a SPECIAL KIND OF STUPID.

We are a part of the USA, California and the County of Tehama. There are rules to be obeyed and they must be able to be enforced. Good luck, idiots.

Sadly, this puts Malia Hard in the position we all hoped not to see. She seems to be beholding to Juan and Ruth for her election and is siding with their moronic moves at every turn. Paula Skubic is also behind the move to limit access to county vehicles on official business. Paula is no surprise since she and Malia are besties, and has been cited a couple times for failure to follow CCR's as well as for her pot grow.

What's sad is that they are actually thinking it might work. Not for the rank and file residents, of course, but for their friends.

HEEEERE'S YOUR SIGN!!

have been told that, in the past week, 30 pot abatement citations have been issued. Primarily in the area of Antelope, Blacktail and Muledeer. More are being scheduled.

If you know Steven (lack of lithium) Raley, you probably know that he has, among others, a page entited "Rancho Tehama Knowers Community". On this page, he has posted the Bob Williams recall rally at the RTR Riverpark on Saturday. Don't know about the rest of you, but a $432 issue on the 2012 donation list just doesn't cause me lack of sleep. If you, as I, feel a debt to Bob for what he has done for us on the Ranch, please send him an email supporting him at [email protected]

He is responsible for a great many improvements of the pot laws on our behalf, and deserves, IMO, our gratitude.

Rumblings throughout the Ranch are that illegal grows are disappearing and wells on vacant properties are being tagged. People, please share what you have seen/witnessed. Let us all have reasons to rejoice in the stronger enforcement of this year.

One can only hope that Director Hard has seen the situation as it currently exists in the office, and on the Ranch. For someone new, it must be very 'enlightening'.
