We are a husband and wife team managing a small high bush blueberry farm in Cornish, Maine, where you can pick your blueberries, while at the same time enjoying a spectacular view of the rolling hills and mountains. Greetings all blueberry pickers. My husband and his friend watched the eclipse a few nights ago and I wanted to post these pictures along with my message. We are now closed for the season. We want to express our gratefulness for your support over the last six weeks! It's been fun and enjoyable to see you all! Your enthusiasm for our endeavors has been very encouraging. Last evening, we were working on our new crop: raspberries! Next year, when you come to pick your blueberries, you can also pick some organic raspberries. We planted 400 plants that will produce during blueberry season. The cultivars are Boyne and Encore.

Pleasant View was again graced with the lovely Finnish group that enjoys gathering here to pick berries and sing. This year, they had two kantele (stringed instruments similar to a dulcimer) and chose to play indoors. The sound was rich and enjoyable. Thank you ladies for making the berry farm a summer tradition!
