As many of you know, we were unfortunately unable to host our annual show last year due to low attendance. The cancellation placed a significant financial strain on our organization, and as we prepare for an exciting upcoming show season, we’re working hard to rebuild and come back stronger than ever.
Many of you have asked how you can help so here’s a great opportunity!
We are currently seeking sponsors for this year’s show season. Community support plays a vital role in making our events possible, and sponsorships help us cover essential expenses while allowing us to continue providing a quality experience for exhibitors, participants, and spectators.

Last but not least everyone meet Lil Lena’s Star aka Tucker ❤️ Tucker joined our barn family in December 2025! He is the ultimate sweetheart and every boarders dream to have in the barn. He has a soft demeanor, not a mean bone in his body, easy on the eyes and loves his little girl very much. We were originally not set up to board but after talking with his family it was found to be a perfect fit and I’m so glad we took the chance on having him join us. I am thankful for him but also his family who has become an instrumental part of our barn. He is currently in training at Hidden Valley for a few months so he and his kiddo can get ready for show season. I am excited to see them in the arena!

Meet Dunit In Spirit aka Spirit with the most soulful eyes. Spirit was purchased in December of 2025. What started as Lola putting in some rides on Spirit at Hidden Valley Equestrian Center became a deep love for Spirit. When he came up for sale we couldn’t imagine him going to anyone else but her ❤️ The amount of work that Lola has put into this horse is unremarkable. She started riding him last summer and the connection for her was almost immediate. Spirit is a quiet guy who doesn’t want any confrontation. It took some time for him to come out of his shell but the connection these two have is something that needs to be seen to believe. They are working extremely hard multiple times a week to get ready for show season. Her goal is to show him in ranch riding and reining. This is what true love looks like. To say I’m proud of these two is a complete understatement. Spirit will be coming home to our barn this summer but for now he is living in Cornville so Lola can ride several times a week during the winter to get show ready. Be on the lookout for these two this year 😍

Meet Hondo! He came to us in February 2024. I originally purchased him for myself to learn to ride but after JR’s health issues Lola took him over. He is the steady Eddie of the barn. The horse you want to teach your kids. He is just about as safe as the come and the easiest keeper of them all. He and Lola show at the local shows and in the 4H circuit. He loves to trail ride and loves his snacks just a little too much 🤣 Hondo is an older guy who just enjoys a good grooming and to stand in the sun. He has provided many opportunities for Lola to build her horsemanship skills and will always have a place at our barn ❤️

Meet JR Sugar Flit aka JR ❤️ JR came to us from JCB in November of 2023 after loosing both of our senior geldings. He is a spitfire with a big personality. Unfortunately after purchasing we noticed he was having some health issues. After seeing the vet we discovered he has navicular. Thankfully we have been able to keep him sound and Lola has been able to take him to a few shows. He has taught Lola patience, perseverance, unconditional love and that sometimes things don’t always work out the way we hope but you still have to show up everyday. JR will be a lifer here at the barn and we love him dearly despite his funny ways and stubbornness.

Hi my name is Erica and I am the owner of Broque Barn along with my husband Brady. Broque started as a small hobby farm when we moved to Turner and our daughter was given her first two horses Cash of Chance and Sterling! Lola has always had an intense love for horses and riding so we packed up and moved to Turner where we could support her dreams. What started as a love for horses has now turned into an intense passion for riding and showing. Lola showed both horses in the local show circuit for a few years before sadly we lost both to old age. We are now the proud owners of 3 other horses JR Sugar Flit aka JR, Hondo and Dunit In Spirit and one boarder Lenas Lil Star aka Tucker ❤️
