Hey neighbors.... We would LOVE to see you at one of our great Farmers Markets this week.
Thursdays 2-6 Windmill Park Farmers Market in Cornville aka Cornville Farmers Market
Fridays 4-8 Farmers Market at Old Town Square in Cottonwood

Thursdays is a totally chill market in a beautiful park with cool grass to walk barefoot on as you shop the local vendors. It's always cool here as the grass is flood irrigated on Tuesdays and is so relaxing to stroll on the cool lawn. Get grounded here! You can walk to the edge of Oak Creek just steps away. Bring your dog and kids as this place is SO family friendly! Celebrating over 20 years, this market is an awesome small town gem!!

Fridays is where you can kick up your heels, enjoy LIVE music from at least two wine and beer bars right next door to the Farmers Market. Old Town Cottonwood IS the place to be!! So much fun happening every minute. Plenty of great local and talented vendors and many places to eat & drink, listen to live tunes from local artists! Hip and FUN, don't miss this weekly event.

Both markets run March - December so come support your local small business owners, farmers and entrepreneurs. We are truly and intentionally a LOCALS Farmers Market with a strong focus on LOCAL SMALL FARMS & BUSINESSES. We don't import from the Phx valley. And, we really need your support!
Your friend, farmer and neighbor, Cathy Seginski

Hello Farm Friends.... It's finally Farmers Market Season in my neighborhood.
Every Thursday is Windmill Park Farmers Market in Cornville from 2-6pm. AKA Cornville Farmers Market
Every Friday is the Farmers Market at Old Town Square in Cottonwood from 4-8pm this time of year.
Both are Rain or shine and both run through the end of the year.
Munds Park Farm to Table Market will begin on Saturday, May 9 this year and runs through October.
This week I have an abundance of Phoenix area CITRUS. Yes, those amazing sweet grapefruits from my sisters yard are going to be at the markets these next few weeks. I also have beautiful lemons, oranges, tangelos, ruby red grapefruit, and Pink grapefruit. All organic from private family yards in my old hood! SO sweet!! Come early for the best selection as these will sell out!
In addition to growing my usual flowers & herbs I am starting to grow more veggies in my garden in Cornville. Right now I have lovely fragrant and diverse varieties of daffodiles (narcissus) and ranunculus with dusty miller, sweet peas and bells of ireland right behind them. I will try to have mason jar bouquets at the Farmers markets these next few weeks. I also have my own home grown lovely greens, huge daikon & breakfast radishes, arugula, kale, spinach, chard, and a few herbs. Carrots and onions are coming on next.
I went to a small woman owned farm in Waddell and got beautiful kale, collard greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, artichokes, and a few other lovely things.
This week I have fresh mushrooms from Sun Valley Harvest in Glendale. I always have their amazing mushroom powder blends too. I could not live without these!! Ask me why!
Meet me at the markets this week and this summer!
I need your support and ask that you grab a friend and neighbor each week and come see what's new at the Farmers Markets.

Tomato Starts! I will have Early Girl tomato starts at the Munds Park Farm to Table Market this Saturday from 9-1. These are all about 8-10" tall and ready for transplant into your Munds Gardens. These produce tomatoes earlier than other varieties which means you can harvest sooner! $5 each and worth every penny. Get that bacon ready for a delicious BLT!

Hello Neighbors.... UPDATE!! Just wanted to remind everyone that I now do 4 farmers markets each week, rain or shine! You can find me at all of the following.....
Wednesdays 4-8 pm Farmers Market at Old Town Square in Cottonwood
Thursday 2-6 pm Windmill Park Farmers Market in Cornville
Saturday 9-1 Munds Park Farm to Table Market
Sunday 8-12 Flagstaff Community Market Fresh Flowers only.

And so you know..... I drive to several farm towns on the southwest end of the Phoenix valley each week to get fresh local small farm produce for these markets. And many locals farms are now producing local veggies and are at the markets each week. I support only small farms, several are women owned and all practice organic or at least pesticide free farming. We call it good farming practices but it is healthy and free of any nasty chemical junk used by big commercial operations. Many are regenerative farms using hand tools and no big tractors or heavy equipment. Most of our farms are not 'certified organic' as this is terribly expensive to obtain but I can assure you that these are stand up farmers that eat what they grow and the have raised their families on it for years. It's the best I can get and I eat it every day!
My eggs are all local to the verde valley and I get eggs weekly (and sometimes 2x a week) from several small family farms. I get chicken and duck eggs, some are fed certified organic feed, others are fed traditional feed, but all are small flocks with lots of room to roam and free range. They all sleep inside secured coops at night due to our hungry predators in the area. If you haven't tried duck eggs year I encourage you to do so,. They are a treat!

Last year I started selling Queen Creek Olive Mill products because they are based in Queen Creek AZ where they grow their own olives, press their own oil, stuff their own olives, infuse their balsamic, and provide a wide range of organic olive oil based products that will enhance any meal. Please come try these amazing products from a family owned business.

I regularly sell fresh and dried mushrooms from Sun Valley Harvest. My good friends own this farm and they are top notch mushroom growers. I carry fresh, dried and even powders that are blended with a goal of targeting specific conditions like inflammation as brain health. I have a brochure from SVH that I can share so you can learn more about the health of mushrooms in your diet.

I also sell Hayden Mills which is also AZ grown grains, flours, and more. Family owned and operated this is also a gem of our state.
Please try some of my pickled goodies too, and the preserves, butters, jams and more. These are made for me (I wish I had the energy and ability to make them but I don't) and my label added. All are made with low amounts of salt, sugar, and other preservatives. I promise you will be hooked and find a favorite soon!

My garden is really starting to bloom nicely. The bulbs are done for the season but right now I have thousands of super aromatic sweet peas and bells of ireland. These made amazing mothers day bouqs. Other blooms are forming and soon I will have dahlias, sunflowers, veronica, zinnias, and much more for summer.
This is just a few of my weekly goodies!
Thanks SO much for your continued support. It means the world to me and my vendors at the markets. You are my hero's!!
Sending Blessing your way!

And so you know..... I drive to several farm towns on the southwest end of the Phoenix valley each week to get fresh local small farm produce for these markets.
