When I look at this photo, I see years of dreams, goals, and hard work… all with the lights on. ❤️
Our barn, built by our family out of rough sawn lumber. So much time, effort, and love went into those walls, and now they hold some of the most precious pieces of our lives.
Barn Side, which started just a little over a year ago, is growing and doing well because of the wonderful people who continue to support this little dream of mine. Every person who stops in makes a difference, and I hope you know how thankful I am.
And now, a new location for my son and his girlfriend’s business, G&M Backroad Bait, where you’ll be able to find what you need for a winter of fishing on the ice. Watching them work toward their own goals gives me a whole other kind of pride. Give them a follow for so you don't miss anything.
Every single one of these started as a vision. A conversation. A “what if we…?” Followed by the willingness to get our hands dirty and figure it out along the way.
I love being home. That deep-in-your-heart feeling of being right where you belong. Having our barn right next door, our animals close, and room for our family’s ideas to take shape means more to me than I can explain. There is always work waiting, but there is so much purpose and joy here, too.
Sometimes you have to pause long enough to see how far you’ve come. This photo does that for me.
Never stop growing. Never stop giving yourself something to work toward. And never think a dream is too small to matter… ours are lighting up the frontyard. ✨
