We’re making delicious cultured butter this week. You can find it for sale at our farm store and at the Westport Farmers Market ! We’ll also have limited amounts of buttermilk. The flavor of cultured butter is a real treat!

Hey folks! We can’t wait to see you today ! We’ll have raw milk, plain and honey yogurt, a fresh batch of ricotta, drinkable yogurt, and beef! We were hoping to have some beautiful cultured butter today but yesterday life had other plans. And when we say “life”, we mean it! Like, the miracle of life! Calf and Clover alumna Honey calved right while we were planning on churning our cream into butter. With a little assistance she gave birth to a beautiful heifer calf. So no butter this week but fingers crossed for next week! Can’t wait to see you today, 10am-2pm at 50 Imperial Ave! 🐮❤️

As always it been a busy couple of weeks on the farm. Moving calves to a fresh paddock of grass, getting ready for more spring births, and starting production on a new product! We’re so excited to have our drinkable yogurt in the farm store and at today! They’re the perfect healthy treat and we’ve definitely been indulging in them in between farm chores. So far we have blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry. Personally I think the colors are almost as delightful as the taste!

Stop by our table and the farm store this weekend for all the usual (raw milk, yogurt, ricotta, beef) plus 4 flavors of drinkable yogurt!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the human and bovine moms that keep us going! On Tuesday our momma cow Quagmire gave birth to a beautiful heifer calf. This little girl was coming out backwards and needed a little help making her entrance to the world. After a slightly frantic FaceTime to .rock.vet and couple nerve wracking minutes of post-birth TLC, little QT (“cutie”) was doing well and getting lots of love from mom. So remember to stop by the farm store this weekend with your momma to support our mommas!🐮❤️

Hey folks! It’s officially market season and we can’t wait to see you all. We have one request for you this season, when buying from us (and other small businesses) please pay in cash! Big point of sale corporations take a cut out of our sales every time you use a credit card. While it seems like a small percentage, the fees really add up. Paying cash helps us feed and care for our animals, pay employees, support other local businesses we rely on, and generally keep the lights on around here as the costs of farming keep rising. Don’t be part of feeding the corporate giants, instead help us feed our cows, and in turn feed you! It’s a small thing that makes a big impact for small farms when you choose to make “cash for cows” a weekly habit. 🐮💵❤️

We’ve had weather whiplash this week on the farm. 80 degrees and sunny down to 30 degrees and snowing all within a few days! But it isn’t getting our girls down. Warm weather means they’re out enjoying the pasture and bringing them in for milking can sometimes require a little bit of convincing!
