Windfall Orchard Ice Cider

We are a small unique orchard with over 80 varieties of apples as well as plums,pears, and cherries. Ice Cider is an extremely versatile drink.

Windfall Orchard Ice Cider is a sophisticated dessert wine made from apples. Ice Cider was developed 15 years ago in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, just north of Vermont. Our Ice Cider is produced by blending over 30 traditional and heirloom apple varieties. It pairs well with Farmstead cheese, charcuterie, foie gras, and of course dessert.

We are nearing the end of the season here at Windfall Orchard. We are grateful for the bounty, for our amazing staff and for your enthusiasm towards our efforts. Today is the last day you can buy Brad’s amazing wood-fired pizzas! Come by and stock up for the winter. Next week is our last Saturday stand and we will have soups and whatever apples remain.

What a sunrise this morning at Windfall Orchard! Our hours of sunlight diminish each week but the beauty of the orchard remains. Come to the farmstand today from 9am-1pm to enjoy the view and buy apples, pears, plums, fresh cider. And of course, pizza and soup! pearmain

What a gorgeous morning! The Windfall Orchard crew is about to start making our signature pizzas for this week’s Saturday stand. And the apples are amazing- William’s Pride, Sunmer Pearmain and Stayman Winesap are picked and ready. We also have Toka and Santa Rosa plums. Open from 9am-1pm.

June is a joyous time in Vermont, and this year’s phenomenal flower and fruit tree bloom made it spectacular. Come to the farmstand today from 9am-1pm to pick up Brad’s amazing pizza and soups and Slowfire Bakery’s breads and pastries. And to enjoy the blooms!

Windfall Orchard is in full (snowball) bloom! Even we are amazed at the beauty of the blossoms. Come take a look this weekend when you stop by the farmstand to pick up soup and pizza. On the menu - wild foraged pizza with morels, ramps and fiddleheads!

It’s a warm late October morning. A fitting end to the weather roller coaster that has been this season. We have gone along for the ride, but we are tired! Now we are in the “last” phase. This week it is your last chance to pick up a gallon or half gallon of our fresh pressed cider. November 11 is our last Saturday for pizza and soups. We are grateful for all your support over the last 6 months, as we have all weathered many storms.
