Good afternoon everyone! We just want to remind you that all Thanksgiving Meal orders need to be received by Monday November 18 at Noon. We have limited space, so we are limited to only 5 more orders. The price is $350 for a Full Thanksgiving Day Meal Paleo Style including dessert for 8 guests. If you are local (Corona), we will deliver on Thursday morning, otherwise you can pick up on Thursday morning. Just In Box us at The Original Taco Girls or email us at [email protected]. Another good day! Busy from open to close then a catering job in the O.C. Tomorrow we will be baking alot. Come in and try our coffee cake and maybe a side of coffee. Its definitely worth the calories.

Today we made Potato Cheese Soup another batch of Tomato Bisque (It goes really fast!) and all the pastrami we marinated and smoked is all gone. We never knew pastrami was so popular! Well ours is! lol Tomorrow morning we will be making more ugly dumplings, cookies, blueberry coffee cake, potato salad, macaroni salad and preparing for a catering job tomorrow evening: Roasted Chicken, Smoked/Grilled Tri Tip, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sauteed green beans/zucchini and purple onions, fresh garden salad and fresh dinner rolls. Of course pumpkin pie and raisin bread...

Our first rainy day... was a good day! We baked peach uglly dumplings, court street cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, sweet potato pie... we smoked a roast and a homemade pastrami roast... made a pot of chicken noodle soup and a pot of tomato bisque and a pot of beef chili... We met a brand new US citizen - they had a celebratory brunch at our place. What an honor! We are looking forward to Tuesday.

Week #1: We have definitely made a statement to the community. We had returners again, a few lawyers held a meeting in our dining room and ordered breakfast (they love the space), several returned for lunch. Thank you Jeffie Mackey for the beautiful poinsettia and our first Christmas Card... Thank you Linda Brittain, Cheryl Marshall and Danielle Denson for the YUMMY baked goods. Luke- your p.r. work has been amazing (Thank you). Tim Denson, Tommie Denson Jr. - your help and support is simply breathtaking. Valerie, Delaney and Caroline - Thank you for pinch hitting for us when we asked. Thank you to all of our friends for the love, support, prayers and well wishes. We are taking a day off and we will be back at the Bistro on Monday morning. The pastrami will be ready on Tuesday, we will smoke another roast or two and turkey breast on Monday... Thank you all again.

Today was spent working on the menu and picking up some treasures to finish decorating. We're on track for a Grand Opening on December 5 at 7:00 a.m.
