🚨💔 A MOTHER LOST HER SON - 19-year-old Hugo Briseno should be planning his future, making memories with friends, and enjoying the start of summer. Instead, his family is now preparing for a funeral.

Corpus Christi police have identified Hugo as the young man who was fatally stabbed during a violent disturbance outside The Ranch nightclub on Everhart Road early Friday morning.

According to investigators, what began as an altercation escalated into chaos in a nearby parking lot. When it was over, two young men had been stabbed. Hugo never made it home.

Another victim survived and remains recovering from injuries. Police say the individuals involved knew each other, and detectives continue working to piece together exactly what happened during those final moments. Several people were detained and questioned, but as of Monday afternoon, no arrests have been announced.

Tonight, a family is grieving. Friends are posting memories. Another chair sits empty. A 19-year-old life is gone forever.

Busy Sunday for me. Been up since 7am headed to a balloon arch set up at 9am. Enchilada plate sell and family platters of chicken alfredo. Then a chicken alfredo catering for 60 at 6pm. Thank you lord for keeping me busy.
