We had a great time last weekend at Chili on the Frio! We had a successful trip for sure! We ended placing 5th in Elote, 5th in Wings, and 2nd in Beans!
Fun trip with friends, and more memories made❤️

Frio Country Resort is active in the Frio River, Uvalde County and the Concan communities and strive to live out our love for this beautiful corner of Texas.

Our team enjoys giving back to our Hill Country community, our first responders, and charitable organizations that are important to our employees and families.

Thank you to all that participated in Fall on the Frio BBQ Cook Off. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Gear Up for Game Wardens!

Had a great time at Fall on the Frio. We came up a little short this round, but brought home 1st place in Kid’s Que! Way to go Emory!!! She rocked it! See you again next year!

We had a great time at Freedom Fest 2022 back in March. We did pretty good, and the kids had a blast!
We ended up with:

3rd place chef’s choice
8th place ribs
13th place brisket
15th place beans
17th place pulled pork

We had a blast at Chili on the Frio this past weekend! Our first time doing chili. We got to do beans, wings, and chili, as well as margaritas, and salsa. We took home third place in salsa! Way to go Kelsey! We made some new friends, and saw some familiar faces. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

We got:
•7th place chicken
•15th in ribs
•26th in Pork
•34th in Brisket
•9th in beans
•19th in fajitas
•12th in margaritas
•16th in salsa
Not too bad out of over 50 teams

13th place overall!
