I had planned these to be ready for Father’s Day (Fathers love flowers too) but all the rain sped these little babies right along!
The yellow centers opened first, then the brown. Next to open is white and green centers, followed by petal color variations. 🌻

Harvesting a bucket of lavender hues before the rain hit this morning.
Listen to how loud the birds become before the storm, the bees were in a frenzy too!

Slow and steady. These beauties were seeded back in December and kept in a temperature controlled grow room. Lisianthus are slow to germinate & grow, but how lucky they are (and me too) to be transplanting into this rain drenched soil 🙌🏼.
Just a little shade cloth needed so they don’t get a sun burn on their first day in the field.
Grow babies, grow! 🌱
