The Valencia Farms’ girls have been competing as a team in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) shows the past couple of months and have been doing very well! This exciting new adventure has been very different (they don’t ride their own horses at these shows) but loads of fun! We’re looking forward to the next show!

We’d like to introduce everyone to our newest member of the Valencia Farms family, Trooper! Trooper has quite the story to how he ended up joining to the farm family. Kristen Valencia’s daughter, Skylynn, spotted him in the median on I25 near Santa Fe while they were driving home. He’s definitely quite the trooper!

VF No Nonsense (No No) is a 14.1 hand 2 year old Half Arabian Gelding. This wonderful young gelding is registered with both AHA and the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America. His sire is Valencia Farms’ Polish Arabian Stallion, Aspens Bolero, who was Reserve Champion In Hand at the 2016 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. His dam is a Welsh/Oldenburg cross named Lovejoy’s Easter Lily.
No No is an exceptional young gelding who can trailer, stand for the farrier and vet, is groomed by both adults and kids in the cross-ties, and has started ground work. He is very easy to work with and loves interacting with people. No No is having a solid ground work foundation put on him and would be ready to be started under saddle next year. This is a horse that can do dressage or jumping or both! Don’t miss out on your next National Champion! Price will increase with training and with starting under saddle.

Now Hiring: Full-Time or Part-Time Barn Assistant

Valencia Farms is looking to add to our team! If you love horses and have always dreamed about a job working with and around them, now is your chance. We are looking to hire a full-time or part-time barn assistant.

The barn assistant would be responsible for feeding daily grain, turning horses out and bringing them in, tacking and untacking horses, grooming, helping vet or farrier with horses, and helping lesson students.
Pay is contingent on experience. Potential for exercising jumping and dressage horses based on riding ability.
Set schedule or flexible schedule is available to the right candidate.
