🦌 IT’S FAWNING SEASON at Stafford Whitetails & Exotics 🦌

If you spot a fawn curled up alone in the grass… PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH OR MOVE IT!

Mama deer often leave their babies hidden while they go feed nearby. A fawn’s best defense is staying still and scent-free. What may look abandoned is usually completely normal behavior.

⚠️ What to do if you see one:• Keep your distance• Do not pet or pick it up• Keep dogs & kids away• Leave the area quietly so mom can return

The best thing you can do for wildlife is LET THEM BE WILD 💚

This is one of our favorite times of year at the ranch!

Looking to add something truly different to your trophy room? Meet the incredible Peré David Deer — one of the most unique exotics you’ll ever hunt. Native to swampy, marsh-like environments, these massive aquatic-loving herbivores can weigh close to 800 pounds and are known for their impressive size, long tails, and prehistoric appearance.

Fun Facts about Pere David Deer:
• Nicknamed the “四不像” or “The Four Unlikes” because they resemble a mix of several animals
• Excellent swimmers that thrive around water and marshlands
• One of the rarest deer species in the world after once being extinct in the wild
• Bulls grow large, sweeping antlers unlike any other exotic species
• Calm, intelligent animals with an unforgettable trophy presence

If you’re looking for a hunt that’s different from the ordinary and a trophy that will be a conversation starter for years to come, a Peré David hunt is for you.
