This weekend was pretty successful for the barn! 😁

I did not have plans to get the remainder of the barn all done right away until I heard the cost of steel was rising. So I jumped on it & well, my hay loft was empty due to throwing 75% of it out .... 😒 What better time than now to get it all ready before this hay season! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you to ALL of our help yesterday & today: Shane Smith, Kyle DiLuzio, Andy Slaughenhaupt, Drew Smith, Leah Laska, Melissa Balzer, Alex DiLuzio, & Aaron! I greatly appreciate each of you working in the rain, the heat, the wind, all of the above. 🫶🏼

Each day this place is better & better. So excited for future endeavors to come. 🥰

Farm fresh eggs in full swing here! 🐥

Our chickens have been free ranging the farm for a few weeks collecting every nutrient out there & in return laying SO MANY eggs for us! 🥚💛

I currently collect roughly 50+ eggs daily. If anybody needs farm fresh butt nuggets, please reach out to me. 😉

Last weekend, the addition was closed in. 👏🏼

There are some minor finishing touches it needs before outside is all finished but they can wait until next year when the weather is decently nicer. 😊

Inside has some temporary stalls up for now. We need another load of stone & I need more stall mats so a trip to Columbus, OH is in the near future in April 2026! 😉

This has to be one of the best feelings. More room for the fur kids to stay warm all winter & comfortable. 💜🥰
