Last weekend, the addition was closed in. 👏🏼

There are some minor finishing touches it needs before outside is all finished but they can wait until next year when the weather is decently nicer. 😊

Inside has some temporary stalls up for now. We need another load of stone & I need more stall mats so a trip to Columbus, OH is in the near future in April 2026! 😉

This has to be one of the best feelings. More room for the fur kids to stay warm all winter & comfortable. 💜🥰

Most of last winter, River lived in the house with his brother, Bluey, after a neck injury Bluey sustained. He doesn’t look too thrilled to be returned to the barn this winter. 🫣

The snow is upon us & our barn addition isn't quite finished up yet. 😬 Added some lights tonight out there since it decides to get dark at 5pm now, also. 😫

That doesn't stop Dolly & Reba from staying out of the weather though. 💜

Just have to finish up framing the walls & doing the flooring so the mud is all gone! 🫡 I at least sleep a bit better knowing they have a roof over their head before the cold hits us for good. 🥴

Day 6 at Erie County Fair, Wattsburg PA 💛🌻🐐

It was a much nicer day today! So many visitors came through the barn. A little chilly for August all this week but loving all of our visitors for sure! 🥰

Tomorrow, our goats will be soaking up the attention during the day while we are heading to three events for petting zoos & pony rides (Pony Parties, LLC). If you want to see me, I will be there later on in the afternoon after 6:30pm! It is the last day of fair & our goats will be heading out tomorrow night around 9:30pm to go back home! 😉
