Let me tell you a story about a man named Barry,
Who cooked briskets low and slow without a worry.
Not one too small, not one too big,
He made sure everybody got a plate piled high from the rig.

Smoke rolling heavy before the break of dawn,
Feeding hungry folks till the daylight was gone.
From the lake to the town, everybody knew the name,
Bancroft BBQ bringing fire to the flame.

He didn’t cook for riches or all the fame,
Just loved seeing smiles when the barbecue came.
