These pictures were taken 2 years apart, the first in September 2014, the second in April 2016. The fall picture shows the dry and hot time of year, but there's grass from our grass feeding high density grazing. This was the 4th year of a long drought in our area. The other picture is a spring picture right before the blast in grass growth, and after a previous year of nice rain.

Left is Tainted Love, age 10, with her calf, Masked Rider. The second is Masked Rider, age 2, with her own calf, Saddle Tramp. Yes, that first red and white calf turned to black and white. She then had a solid red calf who is now brindled black and red.

We never know what color surprise we'll get, or what it will turn out to be, but we do know that God is the master painter, and we are grateful for each print He gives us. It started in 2011 with 7 mama cows and calves. We've produced over 75 head, now. It's been a journey and we'd love to share it with you. Contact us for a visit. You'll leave amazed!

The afternoon move was filled with energy. All I do is take up an electric gate and holler "whoop" and here they come. I love these cattle!

Here are four beauties born this last week. We lost one little heifer in the rain storm. It broke our hearts. But, as I look at these sweet faces, three heifers, and the little bull calf we were able to save, pictured here back with his mama, we are grateful. New life, the miracle of the process, and the continued lineage we have begun, all with Gods direction.
Life is good at Trail of Faith Ranch. God is with us. We are blessed. 🕇

What a difference some rain and sunshine make. Same pasture, one week time lapse. God is good.

Yes, I am sharing pictures of the ground😆. I wanted to share our earth warm population. Each of those dark spots is a worm casting. We've worked 7 years to get this accomplished. With no use of chemicals, fertilizer, herbicide, etc., we have populated our first 45 acres with amazing microbial activity under ground. We added 20 acres last year and now working to improve it. We use natural wormers to prevent the chemicals from being in our cattle and from hitting the ground in p**p and killing these organisms. It's the healthy way, God's way. It's slow, but the payoffs are amazing for our cattle and our land.

Two new babies at Trail of Faith Ranch. Our herd increased 17 head with babies born this season. The colors have been amazing. Texas Longhorns are great cattle to raise and breed. Easy to calve, great mothers, and beautiful babies. Blessed.

The red, crimson, clover we have have hoped for is finally coming out in spots in our pastures. Our cattle get, what we call, a salad bar with the different grasses, legumes, and clovers we have on our place. We fed different types of hay when we first started, some Clovers, some Milletts,, and a variety of native grasses in hope of bringing in a multitude of greens our cattle would enjoy. It worked, and it is such a blessing. I hope you all are having a blessed Sunday.

The grass is tall and the calves are beautiful. Come see us.
