As Colorado State fair comes to a close we want to thank our families that competed with our lambs during state an amazing job that they’ve done and throughout the season. We also want to thank the rest our Families that purchased our lambs that also did a great job at their counties including jackpots.

A huge congratulations to all the La Plata and Montezuma kids that competed state fair on there division champions and sale qualifying placings. We also want to wish you kiddos good luck at the Sale this week.

We have one more state fair that we have a family that will be competing in New Mexico hopefully we get one of them in the Sale slot and competing for the wether dam ewe show.

Very thankful that these lambs turned out great for these families. I think we should have another exciting crop of lambs this coming winter. I think we have a list already started a families that are coming back. Please let us know and will get you on the list.

The CORDOVA Family had a pretty good day at the Valencia County fair in New Mexico.

Third and fourth in class

second place in the light heavyweight.

Then Miss Kynlee came back strong in the Weather dam class she Reserve Grand. Awesome job there young lady now it’s time to put in the real work to get ready for state fairs.

Just wrapped up embryo transfers on Wednesday. We had a solid day and are pleased with how several of the donor ewes flushed. Now comes the hardest part—the waiting game as we hope our recipient ewes retain their pregnancies.

We’re really excited about these line ups and think this late December lamb crop has the potential to be something special. We’re also looking forward to our AI group helping boost numbers this season.
