Cortez FFA had a BLAST celebrating National FFA Week this week. Monday started off with ‘Merica Monday and National Service where our officers delivered breakfast to our community, brought to you by Kaydence, Chrissalee and Adrianna! Tuesday, Tanna and Dannika kept the ball rolling with Country Club vs. COUNTRY Club, and held a fun scavenger hunt in the shop. On Wednesday, Taylor and Hailee brought us Blue and Gold, and Ag Olympics in the shop. On Thursday, Landon, accompanied by the rest of the officer team, led us in Ag Knowledge Jeopardy while keeping us stylish in our best Hawaiian shirts to finish out the week!! Huge shoutout to all the members who participated in the events this week, we wouldn’t have been able to do this without you! Stay tuned for more events coming up!! 💙💛

Today, we were treated to a wonderful surprise from the incredible youth from Montezuma FFA (Future Farmers of America)! 🌯💙

As part of their National Day of Service during FFA Week, these hardworking young leaders delivered delicious breakfast burritos to our office. Their thoughtful gesture meant more than just a great meal for us, it was a reminder of the strong partnership and support we share with the youth in our community.

The dedication, leadership, and service-minded spirit shown by these students truly reflect the values that FFA stands for. We are proud of the young men and women who represent Montezuma County so well.

Thank you, Cortez FFA Chapter, for thinking of us and for giving back to your community. We appreciate you! 👏💛

To kickoff National FFA Week, our officers made breakfast burritos for the first responders in our community, as well as one of our sponsors, Tires Les Schwab. Officers Kaydence, Chrissalee, and Adrianna had the honor to deliver these burritos to the amazing men and women who serve our community, to show our gratitude to their sacrifices and commitment to our community. Cortez FFA sends out a heartfelt thank you to the Cortez Fire Department, Cortez Police Department, Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, Southwest Memorial Health Systems, and Tires Les Schwab!
